About

As-salaamu ‘Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh (May Allaah grant you safety from evils, and bestow His Mercy and Blessings upon you)

This blog is for the common Muslim born into Muslim families, the new Muslim, and the non-Muslim wanting to understand Islam.

The purpose of the blog is to educate Muslims who have not learnt the basic aspects of Islam such as the meaning of the shahaadah and what it entails, the pillars of emaan (faith), the invalidators of Islam, Allaah’s rights, His Messenger and his sunnah, the prayers, fasting, zakat, hajj, purification,  and other aspects of the creed and practises that a Muslim should not be ignorant about.

I hope to make the posts brief, simplified and precise so I will avoid extensive use of proofs and the differences of opinions amongst the scholars of Islam unless necessary.

This blog is in dedication to my family and close friends, those who have the right of da’wa upon me firstly, and then their friends and anyone else who may benefit.

The verses I quote are the translations of the meaning of the Quran and not a direct translation, because the Quran was revealed in Arabic and a direct word for word translation is not possible. The translation I use is titled The Noble Quran, and can be viewed here

I ask Allaah, the One free from all imperfections, the Most High, to accept this effort from me and make it sincerely and purely for His face, and to place it on my scale of good deed as an investment for a day when wealth and status will not avail me.

I have your blog on my site as a constant reminder. I’ve learnt so much (Alhamdulilah) and I pray others will benefit from it as well.

(May Allah reward you for all the effort you put in and may He ensure nobody comes here and leaves without the beauty of Islam being imprinted in their hearts and minds) Amin.

    Ma Salam.
